Washington (Monitoring Desk): US President Donald Trump has said that the United States will soon leave Iran, while oil prices are also set to fall rapidly.
Addressing an election rally in Texas, Donald Trump said that the United States would not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances.
Expressing his desire for a possible agreement with Iran, he said the question is whether Tehran is prepared to take acceptable steps to halt its nuclear programme or not.
Trump also repeated his controversial statements regarding alleged Iranian attacks on Los Angeles and San Diego in recent days. He said that if such attacks occurred, the United States would respond strongly and ensure its own defense.
This was Trump’s third visit to Texas in the past month, where he has been campaigning for Republican candidates in connection with the midterm elections.
