Florida (Monitoring Desk) US President Donald Trump has said that in the case of Iran, a situation should not be allowed to arise where things quickly move out of war and then become complicated again.
Speaking in Florida, he claimed that Iran is a country whose current leadership appears to lack clear direction or preparedness.
According to Donald Trump, there are currently around 400 oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, and if these vessels leave the area, global fuel prices could significantly decrease.
He also said that NATO has not provided any practical support in this conflict, despite the United States spending billions of dollars on the alliance.
Referring to past US military interventions in Vietnam, Iraq, and Iran, he said that while Vietnam took 19 years and Iraq 12 years, the situation regarding Iran is relatively shorter, yet criticism is still being made.
The former US President further claimed that a major oil tanker carrying 2 million barrels of oil was successfully blocked.
