Trump’s Approval Rating Falls Ahead of Midterm Elections, 64% of Americans Dissatisfied

WASHINGTON (Monitoring Desk): Public dissatisfaction with US President Donald Trump’s performance has increased ahead of the country’s midterm elections. According to a recent survey, nearly two-thirds of Americans are unhappy with his overall performance.

A Fox News poll found that 64 percent of respondents were dissatisfied with Trump’s performance, while 36 percent considered it satisfactory.

The survey results also showed that Trump has failed to win public support over his handling of inflation. Some 55 percent of Americans rejected his claims regarding efforts to reduce inflation, while 77 percent expressed dissatisfaction with his performance on the issue.

The state of the US economy also remains a major concern for citizens. In the survey, 74 percent of respondents said they were seriously worried about economic conditions, while 53 percent feared that the country’s economy could deteriorate further in the future.

Similarly, 66 percent of Americans expressed dissatisfaction with the overall direction of the country.

According to Fox News, the survey figures represent the lowest level of popularity Trump has recorded across his two presidential terms.

The findings come as the US midterm elections approach, with inflation and other economic challenges remaining key issues in public debate.
