Unrest in Israel Over US-Iran Ceasefire, Majority Oppose Agreement

Tel Aviv (Monitoring Desk): Strong public and political reactions have emerged in Israel following the recent ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, sparking fresh debate.

According to a report by Al Jazeera, a recent survey has revealed that 61 percent of Israeli citizens oppose the ceasefire, while 73 percent believe that another war with Iran could break out within the next year.

The survey was released by the Institute for National Security Studies, which noted that a large segment of the public is disappointed over the lack of a complete military victory against Iran.

The report suggests that public opinion reflects concerns over the current regional situation and future uncertainties, leading to growing anxiety within political circles as well.
