Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu welcomed the establishment of Mobiz’s new office, saying it is a Pakistani-owned technology company based in Silicon Valley, USA, providing cloud services, data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity solutions in various countries.
He said Pakistan’s talented youth have the potential to play an important role in the global information technology market, while the expansion of international technology companies in Pakistan reflects confidence in the country’s capabilities. Pakistan has significant potential to become a regional technology and global services hub.
The chairman said the Securities and Exchange Commission is focusing on transparency, digital systems and regulatory reforms to facilitate businesses. Modern technology can reduce business costs and time while improving efficiency. Investment by global companies will create employment and new opportunities for young people to work internationally.
He congratulated Mobiz Global on launching its Karachi office and expressed hope that the company would adopt an effective strategy for further business expansion in Pakistan.
