Narowal (Pakistan Desk) The arrival of Sikh pilgrims from around the world for the Vaisakhi festival continues, with groups from various countries reaching Kartarpur Sahib where they were warmly welcomed. Pilgrims arriving from India and other countries were received by the district administration with great hospitality. Flower petals were showered, garlands were presented to the guests, and district officials were also present at the reception ceremony.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner of Narowal stated that Pakistan is a land of peace and love, where minorities are given special importance, and serving Sikh pilgrims is a matter of pride. He said that the arrival of international pilgrims promotes cultural harmony, while tolerance and brotherhood are our identity, and Pakistan shares strong historical and spiritual ties with the Sikh community.
The district administration stated that pilgrims coming from around the world are in fact ambassadors of Pakistan’s positive image, carrying a message of peace and love back with them.
