World Cup Dispute: Proposal to Include Italy Instead of Iran Under Discussion

Washington (Sports Desk) A proposal has reportedly been put forward by the special envoy of former President Donald Trump suggesting that Italy could be included in the FIFA World Cup in place of Iran.

According to international media reports, the proposal was presented to U.S. President Donald Trump and the FIFA President, with the stated aim of improving relations with the Italian Prime Minister.

It is worth noting that Iran has already confirmed its participation in the upcoming World Cup, and according to Iran’s Ministry of Sports, the national team is fully prepared for the event.

The FIFA President has also previously confirmed Iran’s participation. The tournament will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Iran’s matches are scheduled to be played in the United States; however, due to recent tensions, some diplomatic and administrative matters are still under consideration.

Iran has already qualified for the World Cup, and its participation has at times remained a subject of political and diplomatic debate.
