Angoor Adda (Pakistan News): In the Zallokhel area of South Waziristan, Angoor Adda, the Pakistan Armed Forces carried out a prompt and effective response to alleged cross-border provocation from Afghanistan, destroying multiple posts.
According to sources, due to the alert action of security forces, attempts of infiltration were successfully foiled and the situation was brought under control immediately.
Reports further state that after the failed infiltration attempt, firing was carried out from across the border, resulting in civilian casualties. Two women were among three injured civilians, who were immediately shifted to the hospital in Wana.
Security sources confirmed that the Pakistan Army targeted several hostile posts in retaliatory action, causing significant damage.
Local sources said that following the incident, additional measures are being taken to further strengthen security in the area, while residents have expressed concern over the situation.
Security officials stated that any form of aggression in border areas is being responded to firmly in order to maintain peace and stability.
