Islamabad (Pakistan News) The Minister of Interior of Azerbaijan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi received an official letter from his Azerbaijani counterpart Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov.
In the letter, the Azerbaijani Interior Minister expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of police personnel in Bannu and extended full solidarity with the people of Pakistan and the victims of the attack.
He said that the suicide attack resulting in the martyrdom of police officers was a tragic incident, and reiterated that Azerbaijan strongly condemns all forms of terrorism.
He also reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to continue supporting global efforts against terrorism.
On the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan values the sympathy and solidarity shown by the brotherly country Azerbaijan. He also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and the speedy recovery of the injured.
