Washington (Monitoring Desk) The US President has announced that the ongoing ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been extended for another three weeks.
Speaking at the White House, he said that he will soon host Israeli Prime Minister and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun.
According to him, the meeting held in the Oval Office with the ambassadors of Israel and Lebanon was positive and constructive.
The US President said that the United States is ready to continue cooperation with Lebanon so that it can protect itself from the threats of Hezbollah.
He added that diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region will continue.
