Washington (Monitoring Desk) Various claims have surfaced regarding an alleged classified program linked to the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon), suggesting efforts to connect military personnel’s brains with advanced technology for controlling weapons or machines.
According to reports, the project was conducted under the U.S. research agency DARPA, known as the Next-Generation Non-Surgical Neurotechnology program. Its aim was to develop a brain-computer interface that can connect the human brain with machines without the need for surgery.
Through this technology, military personnel could reportedly control drones and other systems using mental signals, while the system could also receive brain signals and send information back.
Experts say this technology falls under the broader field of brain-computer interfaces, which is already being used in medical and research applications such as prosthetic limb movement and assistance in neurological disorders.
However, specialists emphasize that calling it “mind control” is inaccurate, as its purpose is not to control thoughts but to improve communication between the brain and machines.
The program began in 2018 and has involved multiple research teams, but there is no confirmed evidence that it is operationally used in the military. Some unverified reports have linked it to secret weapons or mind control, but scientists say such capabilities have not been proven.
