Colombo (Sports Desk) Sri Lankan cricketer Dasun Shanaka has been declared ineligible for the Pakistan Super League 12.
According to reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board has imposed a one-year ban on the Sri Lankan all-rounder.
The board stated that Dasun Shanaka violated his contract with Lahore Qalandars, leading to strict action. The PCB maintained that withdrawal from the league is a clear breach of contractual terms, and preserving the standards and reputation of the PSL remains a top priority.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan cricketer has expressed regret over the decision and apologized to Pakistani fans, stating that he had no intention of joining any other league.
