New Delhi (Sports Desk) A new controversy has emerged from the Indian Premier League, in which former IPL chairman Lalit Modi has allegedly revealed incidents involving black magic-like practices by a team owner.
During a match in the current season between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings, a video of a spectator went viral on social media, sparking debate. In the footage, a fan can be seen performing unusual actions with a lemon, which some users interpreted as black magic.
The spectator was reportedly gesturing towards Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Shivam Dubey, who was dismissed shortly afterward, leading to celebrations in the stadium.
Following the incident, Lalit Modi recalled an earlier episode on social media, claiming that such occurrences are not new and similar behavior was also observed during the 2011 season.
According to him, at that time, an owner of a team was seen near the opposition dressing room engaging in suspicious activities, further intensifying the controversy.
