Karachi: (Showbiz Desk) Renowned Pakistani actress Reema Khan has broken her silence on the ongoing controversies involving actresses Meera and Resham, saying that it is essential to maintain respect and dignity when interviewing artists.
Reema Khan, a former popular film actress, director, and producer of Pakistani cinema, has showcased her acting talent in several successful films and remained a favorite among audiences for a long time.
Speaking during a recent private TV program, she said that in some podcasts and interviews, artists are asked questions as if they are sitting in a serious interrogation program, which is regrettable.
Referring to questions about Meera, she said that such an approach undermines the dignity of artists, while every artist deserves respect and honor.
Reema Khan further said that in Pakistan, interviews often focus more on the personal lives of artists rather than their work, which is inappropriate for both the guest and the host.
Talking about Resham, she said that she is a good artist and should avoid blindly trusting others’ statements and instead analyze situations herself and stay away from rumors.
