Rawalpindi (Pakistan News) Security forces conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in District Khyber, killing 22 terrorists.
According to ISPR, on April 21, 2026, security forces and law enforcement agencies carried out the operation on information about the presence of Khawarij. During the operation, there was a heavy exchange of fire in which terrorist elements allegedly operating under Indian sponsorship were targeted.
The statement said that during the operation, a 10-year-old child was martyred due to firing by the Khawarij. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
The spokesperson added that a search and clearance operation is ongoing in the area to locate any remaining terrorists. Security forces continue operations under a national strategy aimed at the complete elimination of terrorism.
