Interior Minister Meets US Ambassador, Discusses Regional Situation

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with US Ambassador Natalie Baker, during which the current regional situation was discussed in detail.

The meeting focused on diplomatic efforts regarding the second round of talks in Islamabad and emphasized the need for continued diplomatic engagement for a sustainable resolution of the conflict.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi appreciated US President Donald Trump’s initiative to extend the ceasefire, stating that it is an important step toward reducing tensions. He also expressed hope for positive developments from Iran.

Mohsin Naqvi said that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal General Asim Munir are making efforts at every level to resolve the issue, and expressed hope that all parties will give diplomacy and peaceful solutions a chance.

US Ambassador Natalie Baker appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace and resolving the conflict in the region.
