Israeli Bombing in Southern Lebanon, 24 Killed; Hezbollah Claims Retaliatory Attacks

Beirut (Monitoring Desk) Heavy Israeli air and ground bombardment was carried out in various areas of southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of at least 24 people.

According to international media reports, Israeli forces had issued evacuation warnings for nine villages in southern Lebanon before intensifying their operations, after which strikes were carried out at multiple locations.

The situation in Southern Lebanon has further escalated as the exchange of attacks continues on both sides.

At the same time, the resistance group Hezbollah has claimed retaliatory operations, stating that it targeted Israeli military positions, including attacks inside Israel and in southern Lebanon.

Israel Defense Forces has not issued a detailed public response regarding these latest claims at the time of reporting.

Hezbollah also released a video showing Israeli soldiers allegedly jumping from tanks and taking shelter in buildings to avoid a drone strike.

With rising tensions, the situation in the region continues to deteriorate, and exchanges of fire between both sides are ongoing.
