Lahore (Commerce Desk): According to the latest documents from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, mobile phone imports in Pakistan have recorded a significant increase over the past nine months.
The report states that from July 2025 to March 2026, the total value of mobile phone imports reached 406.38 billion rupees, compared to 314.65 billion rupees in the same period last year. This reflects an increase of 29.15 percent.
According to the data, Pakistan imported mobile phones worth 41.70 billion rupees in March 2026, which is 14.28 percent higher compared to March 2025.
However, on a monthly basis, a slight decline of 4.26 percent was also recorded in March, as imports stood at 43.56 billion rupees in February 2026.
Economic experts say that the increase in mobile phone imports reflects growing digital usage in the country, rising online activity, and increasing consumer demand.
