Lahore (Pakistan News) One year has been completed since the launch of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos by Pakistan, which represents a major phase of a broader conflict termed “Ma’raka-e-Haq” by Inter-Services Public Relations.
The operation continued from April 22, 2025 to May 10, 2025 and is considered an important turning point in the security situation of South Asia. It began after a deadly incident in the Pahalgam area, following which tensions in the region escalated rapidly.
After the incident, India levelled allegations against Pakistan, which were strongly rejected by Pakistan. Officials and analysts termed the incident a false flag operation, while various questions were also raised at the international level.
Later, the scope of tensions expanded to diplomatic, informational, and military fronts. During aerial engagements, there was intense confrontation between the air forces of both countries, in which, according to the Pakistani stance, Indian aircraft were damaged.
Following further escalation on the night of May 6 and 7, Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos on May 10, which was described as a limited but decisive response.
According to ISPR, it was a joint military operation involving the use of land, naval, air, and cyber capabilities. Claims were also made that various Indian military installations and defense systems were targeted.
During this period, the use of cyber and modern technology was highlighted, while internal security challenges were also addressed on multiple fronts.
Officials said that during this entire period, unprecedented national unity was observed, and it is considered an important example of coordinated strategy and military preparedness.
