Islamabad (Pakistan News) Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gillani has said that on the completion of one year of Operation “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” and the occasion of “Yom-e-Maarka-e-Haq,” it has become clear that Pakistan remains fully committed at every level to protecting its sovereignty and security.
He said that Operation “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” is a practical demonstration of the professional capabilities and strong response of the Pakistan Armed Forces against enemy aggression. According to him, “Maarka-e-Haq” is not just a military success but a symbol of the entire nation’s unity, faith, and unwavering resolve.
The Chairman Senate said that the sacrifices of martyrs who laid down their lives in defense of the country are a source of pride for the entire nation, while the armed forces have set new examples of courage and sacrifice on every front.
He further stated that the youth, media, people working on the diplomatic front, scientists, and engineers have played an important role in strengthening the national narrative, and national unity remains Pakistan’s real strength.
Yousaf Raza Gillani said that the wisdom of political and military leadership and the trust of the people have enabled Pakistan to overcome every challenge. He reiterated that Pakistan prefers peace but will never compromise on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In the end, he said that the nation should remain united and renew its resolve to make Pakistan a strong, stable, and dignified state.
