Lahore (Pakistan News) Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that Mother’s Day is a day to acknowledge the unparalleled love, sacrifice, and selflessness of mothers.
In her message on the occasion of Mother’s Day, she said that this day is dedicated to mothers who send their sons to the battlefield, to every mother of a martyr and veteran, and to every woman who works hard, even going hungry herself, to raise her children.
The Chief Minister said that a mother is like a cool shade in the scorching heat of life, providing comfort and peace. She added that Allah Almighty has elevated the status of motherhood by comparing His love to a mother’s love.
She further said that mothers are the foundation of families and the pillar of society, and Mother’s Day is a moment to honor their great sacrifices.
Maryam Nawaz also remembered her mother Kalsoom Nawaz, saying that she feels her absence deeply on Mother’s Day and every day, and that she owes her position today to her mother’s prayers. She said that those who serve their mothers are successful in both this world and the hereafter, and she prays for the health and well-being of all mothers.
