Islamabad (Pakistan News) Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, during which both leaders discussed the changing regional situation and ongoing peace efforts.
During the conversation, both sides reviewed progress in efforts for peace in the region and emphasized that all parties should advance the peace process through constructive and positive engagement.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the depth of brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar and thanked Qatar for its continued and strong support for peace efforts. He also conveyed his best wishes to the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and welcomed his upcoming visit to Pakistan.
Both leaders expressed hope that the proposed visit of the Emir of Qatar would further strengthen and expand the long-term partnership between Pakistan and Qatar.
