Islamabad (Pakistan News) The nationwide Hajj flight operation has gained momentum, with the process of sending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia continuing without interruption.
According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 5,250 government pilgrims have so far reached Madinah Munawwarah through 21 flights.
The spokesperson said that 13 more Hajj flights will depart today (Tuesday), carrying 3,510 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. These include four flights from Islamabad, two each from Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Quetta, while one flight will also operate from Sialkot.
Authorities said that both national and international airlines, including PIA, Saudi Airlines, Airblue, and Air Sial, are participating in the official Hajj operation.
For the convenience of pilgrims, training sessions, issuance of travel documents, and vaccination processes are ongoing at ten Hajj camps across the country to ensure timely completion of all arrangements.
It was further stated that ministry staff are present 24 hours at both Pakistani and Saudi airports to immediately address any possible issues.
According to the spokesperson, the Hajj flight operation will continue uninterrupted until 31 May.
