Tehran (Monitoring Desk) Iran has strongly rejected and termed misleading a report published by the US newspaper The Wall Street Journal regarding nuclear material-related claims.
According to Iranian officials, the American newspaper has distorted facts, while the actual proposals included a clear demand for an immediate ceasefire on all fronts.
Officials said that Iran has also demanded guarantees against any future attacks in its position, stating that this stance is in line with fundamental national security requirements.
Iran has further called for the lifting of US sanctions on oil exports and the removal of maritime blockades.
According to Iranian authorities, Tehran has also included in its response the demand for the immediate restoration of all frozen Iranian assets abroad.
