Washington (Monitoring Desk) White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt has said that no final deadline has been set for a ceasefire with Iran, and the timing of any decision will be determined by the US President himself.
Speaking to the media, she said that Iran is being given a few days to consider the agreed proposals, during which a temporary ceasefire may remain in place.
According to the spokesperson, the seizure of two vessels by Iran is not being considered a violation of the ceasefire, as the ships were neither American nor Israeli.
She further stated that Iran must hand over enriched uranium, adding that the United States will not make any compromise on its conditions.
Caroline Leavitt said that the US President is pursuing a policy of economic pressure on Iran, which is producing positive results, and that Iran is currently facing severe financial difficulties.
She added that the US administration is also closely monitoring the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and has expressed satisfaction with the current strategy.
