Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the visit of the Egyptian delegation will help explore new avenues of cooperation between the two countries.
A delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry in Islamabad. The delegation was led by Major General Magdy Helal and included Brigadier Essam Abu Al-Khair, Brigadier Engineer Muhammad Razi, and Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Munir.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation between their interior ministries. Detailed discussions were held on enhancing collaboration in security, counter-terrorism, anti-narcotics efforts, cybercrime, and safe city projects.
It was also decided to expand cooperation between the National Police Academy and the Egyptian Police Academy for joint training of officers.
Mohsin Naqvi said that practical steps will be taken to further strengthen relations with Egypt and added that a Pakistani delegation will soon visit Egypt to explore new opportunities in areas of mutual interest.
He further stated that enhanced cooperation between the interior ministries of both countries will further strengthen bilateral relations.
