Lahore (Sports Desk): Pakistani all-rounder Salman Ali Agha reacted to his controversial run-out in the match against Bangladesh, saying that if he were in Mahdi Hasan’s place, the incident would have been handled very differently.
Salman Ali Agha shared these thoughts during a press conference in Dhaka at the conclusion of the match. During the game, he had stepped out of the crease at the non-striker’s end in sync with the bowler’s run-up. When Mohammad Rizwan played a shot, the ball struck Salman Ali Agha’s bat and stopped. As he tried to pick up the ball, Mahdi Hasan grabbed it and hit the stumps, after which the third umpire declared him out.
Frustrated by the decision, Salman Ali Agha appeared visibly upset and threw his gloves and helmet to the ground in anger.
