Gaza (Monitoring Desk): United Nations-appointed investigators have said Israel has carried out widespread killings amounting to crimes against humanity in the occupied West Bank, while the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza continues.
According to the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry, Israeli forces have committed war crimes and other crimes against humanity in the occupied West Bank.
In a report issued in September 2025, the commission concluded for the first time that Israel had committed genocide during the war in Gaza, which began after October 7, 2023.
The latest report, released a day before Israel’s general election, states that a widespread and systematic attack is being carried out against Palestinian civilians through military operations in the West Bank and continued violent assaults by Israeli settlers.
