“Being a Girl Is a Sin in Our Country”: Hina Altaf’s Complaint

Karachi (Showbiz Desk): Pakistani actress Hina Altaf has described Karachi as a prison, saying that life is difficult for girls and that they cannot walk freely on the streets.

Hina Altaf had recently been spending her holidays in London. A few hours before leaving for Karachi, she recorded a video in which she described her stay in London as wonderful.

In the video, the actress said she had decided to enjoy one last breakfast in London before her flight to Karachi because returning to the city would feel like being locked up in a prison. According to her, girls cannot truly live their lives there or walk freely on the streets, and being a girl itself is considered a sin in the country.

Hina Altaf said she was spending the last few hours of her freedom in London and that the city had treated her very well.

The video prompted mixed reactions on social media. Some users criticised her for speaking negatively about her own city, while others agreed with her views.
