US Seeks to Resume Iran Talks, JD Vance Sends Letter

Washington (Monitoring Desk): The US newspaper The Wall Street Journal has reported that the United States is trying to restart stalled peace negotiations with Iran.

According to the newspaper, US Vice President JD Vance, acting on the instructions of President Donald Trump, has written a letter to Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. The letter aims to revive negotiations with Tehran.

Mohsen Rezaei is considered one of Iran’s prominent figures and previously served for many years as a commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

According to the report, despite President Trump’s threats to resume the war against Iran, JD Vance is attempting to restore negotiations through diplomatic contacts.
