Islamabad (Pakistan News) Justice Munib Akhtar has taken oath as the Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Supreme Court Karachi Registry, where Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui administered the oath to him.
The ceremony was attended by judges of the Supreme Court and the Federal Constitutional Court, along with senior judicial officials.
Justice Munib Akhtar will perform the duties of Acting Chief Justice during the foreign visit of Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi.
