Chinese Satellite Used to Monitor US Bases, Leak Sparks Global Concerns

Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Secret documents have revealed that Iran monitored American military bases using a Chinese spy satellite and obtained sensitive information.

According to a report by the Financial Times, a China-developed satellite, TEAE-01B, was handed over to Iran in late 2024 and was received by the aerospace force of the Revolutionary Guards.

The report states that the satellite was used to monitor US military installations, and the images obtained were utilized to identify sensitive targets. These تصاویر were reportedly taken before and after drone and missile strikes at various locations in March, aiding operational planning.

The satellite also captured images of the Prince Sultan Air Base on March 13, 14, and 15. On March 14, Donald Trump had confirmed that US aircraft at the base were targeted.

According to the report, these revelations have heightened security concerns in the region and sparked a fresh global debate.
