Farooq Abdullah Blames Modi Government for Terrorism in Occupied Kashmir

Srinagar (Monitoring Desk) — Former Chief Minister of occupied Kashmir Farooq Abdullah has held the Indian government responsible for ongoing terrorism in the region and demanded an impartial investigation into the Kulgam and Islamabad incidents.

In an interview, Farooq Abdullah rejected attempts by Indian media to link the Kulgam and Islamabad incidents with Pakistan, questioning that if terrorism has been completely eliminated, then who is targeting ordinary laborers.

He said that transparent and honest investigations are necessary to uncover the truth behind the Kulgam incident. Farooq Abdullah also expressed the possibility of an internal conspiracy in the killings of two non-local laborers in Kulgam and a police official in Islamabad.

The former chief minister also questioned the Modi government’s claim that the borders have been secured, saying that if security arrangements are so effective, then how are terrorists still entering the country.
