Lahore (Sports Desk) — Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana has departed for England from Sri Lanka, where she will represent Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred tournament.
Fatima Sana has become the first Pakistani female cricketer to participate in The Hundred, which is being considered a significant achievement for Pakistan women’s cricket.
The national team captain led the Pakistan women’s cricket team in the ODI series against Sri Lanka; however, due to her participation in The Hundred, she will not be part of the T20 series against Sri Lanka.
According to sources, Muneeba Ali will lead the Pakistan women’s cricket team in the T20 series.
