Islamabad (Commerce Desk) Gold and silver prices witnessed significant fluctuations in global and local markets due to technical correction, resulting in a major decline in gold rates.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $37, falling to $4,043, which also affected local bullion markets.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola on Saturday decreased by Rs3,700, reaching Rs426,736.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs2,202, after which the new price was recorded at Rs365,857.
On the other hand, in the international market, the price of silver per ounce decreased by 57 cents, reaching $57.58. In the local bullion market, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs57 to Rs6,237, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs49 to Rs5,347.
