Hajj 2027 online registration begins, passport not required in initial phase

Islamabad (Pakistan News) Online registration for pilgrims for Hajj 2027 has officially begun.

According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, applicants can register through the ministry’s official website. In the initial stage, a passport is not mandatory; however, it will be required at the time of Hajj booking, and its validity must extend until 16 November 2027.

The spokesperson said that only registered individuals will be eligible for Hajj 2027 booking, while bookings will continue on a first-come, first-served basis until the quota is filled.

The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs said that no registration fee has been set for Hajj registration, and overseas Pakistanis can also participate in the process. He added that registration has been made mandatory for both government and private Hajj schemes.

According to the ministry, pilgrims can complete the registration process from home, and selection of the Hajj scheme will only be possible after successful registration.
