Lahore (Sports Desk): Three sisters from Lahore have achieved a notable distinction by successfully completing the World Athletics CECs Level One coaching course together.
Aamna Shehzad, Ayesha Shehzad, and Fatima Shehzad belong to a well-known sports family. Their grandfather, Fayaz Mahmood Qureshi, was a national-level athlete, while their father, Shehzad Qureshi, also represented at the national level in swimming and is currently involved in cricket coaching.
All three sisters are students of BS Health and Physical Education. Aamna Shehzad is in her eighth semester, while Ayesha and Fatima are in their sixth semester.
Recently, under the supervision of the Pakistan Athletics Federation, the World Athletics Coaches Education and Certification System Level One course was held in Lahore, where senior coaches participated alongside the three sisters, who attracted attention with their performance.
The sisters successfully completed the course and received World Athletics certification. They said it was a great honor for them to complete the course alongside senior coaches and expressed their intention to progress further by completing higher-level certifications in coaching.
They also added that their educational background helped them significantly during the course, and they did not face major difficulties during practical training.
