Lahore (Showbiz Desk) Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Hina Pervaiz Butt has strongly reacted to writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar over his statement regarding acid attacks.
Hina Pervaiz Butt shared a video on social media in which she can be seen discussing women’s rights and recent incidents of acid attacks. She referred to two recent cases, including that of Dr. Mah Noor, highlighting the seriousness of the issue.
In the caption of her post, she wrote that she was speaking on women’s rights in a private TV program, but during the discussion on acid attacks she was shocked by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s remarks.
According to her, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar said that the issue was being presented as if men carry bottles of acid in their pockets when they go out, a statement she termed inappropriate and strongly criticized.
