Raipur (Monitoring Desk): The Indian government has been accused of fueling hatred and discrimination against minorities for political interests.
According to the international publication The Christian Post, a family in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh was forced to follow Hindu religious rituals for the burial of a Christian woman.
A local priest described the action as the height of cruelty, saying that even the dead are no longer safe in India.
The report said that Chhattisgarh, ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party, has allegedly become a center of violent attacks and religious persecution against the Christian community.
