India A win tri-series final, defeat Sri Lanka A by 66 runs

New Delhi (Sports Desk) India A produced a dominant performance in the tri-series final, defeating Sri Lanka A by 66 runs.

In the final played in Dambulla, India A posted a massive total of 377 runs for the loss of 9 wickets after batting first.

Fifteen-year-old batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an extraordinary innings, scoring 94 runs off just 29 balls. He reached his half-century in only 11 balls, setting a new List A cricket record. His innings included 10 fours and 8 sixes.

Other key contributors included Tilak Varma with 67 runs, Ruturaj Gaikwad with 40, and Anukul Roy with a quick 39-run knock.

Chasing the target, Sri Lanka A were bowled out for 311 in the 48th over. Nuwanidu Fernando scored 62 and Sadeera Samarawickrama made 52, but the team fell short of the target.

For India A, Yash Thakur and Vipraj Nigam took 3 wickets each, while Anukul Roy also picked up a crucial wicket.
