IPAK Enters European Market, Establishes Subsidiary in Portugal

Karachi (Commerce Desk) International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) has announced its expansion into the European market by deciding to establish a wholly owned subsidiary in Portugal.

According to details, the subsidiary will be established through IPAK Connect Packaging Materials Trading FZCO, a wholly owned company of the IPAK Group based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

After registration, the company established in Portugal will become part of the IPAK Group and will serve as the group’s commercial platform in the European Union. However, implementation of the project will be subject to all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate approvals.

According to IPAK, the establishment of a subsidiary in Portugal is an important development in the group’s global expansion strategy, which will strengthen the company’s presence in the European Union and increase access to existing and new customers in the region.

The announcement stated that the Portugal-based company will serve as a central hub for IPAK Group’s commercial activities in the European Union. It will help enhance cooperation with customers, packaging converters, distributors, and other industrial partners.

The company said that the new subsidiary will also help improve products and business strategies according to the requirements of the European market.

According to IPAK, expansion into Portugal is part of its broader global vision, under which the company is connecting its strong production capabilities in Pakistan with an international trade network and further strengthening its global presence in the packaging films sector.
