California (Web Desk) — Prices of Apple’s iPhone 17 series have been steadily declining over the past few weeks, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max receiving the most significant discount. Retailers are further reducing prices to clear old stock.
Meanwhile, Apple has increased the price of the base iPhone 17 model by $100. Raising the prices of older phones was considered an unusual move for Apple before 2026, but this trend is becoming common among major technology companies this year. Samsung also took a similar step in April with the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Following the discontinuation of production of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, retailers are offering further discounts to clear remaining stock, resulting in increasingly limited availability of these models.
In Australia, JB Hi-Fi has reduced the price of the base iPhone 17 from AUD 1,499 to AUD 1,399.
In Germany, the 256GB iPhone 17 Pro Max is available at MediaMarkt for €1,329, which is €120 lower than its initial price of €1,449.
In the UK, the iPhone 17 Pro is being sold on Amazon for £999, while the Pro Max is available for £1,099. Both models are £100 cheaper than Apple’s official prices. The 512GB iPhone Air is also available on Amazon at a £200 discount.
