ISLAMABAD (Commerce Desk) – Iran has signed an important agreement with Pakistan for LPG storage and investment, marking a new direction in bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries.
Following the ceasefire, Iran has decided to significantly expand trade with Pakistan. In this regard, an Iranian trade delegation visited Karachi for the second time within two months.
The delegation arrived at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, where multiple agreements were signed. The delegation included investors from the mining sector as well as business representatives involved in rice imports.
According to Federation representative Muhammad Ali Haider, the purpose of the agreement is to promote cooperation in the energy and trade sectors. Both sides also reiterated their commitment to increasing bilateral trade volume to $10 billion in the coming years.
