Karachi (Showbiz Desk): Renowned actress Sania Saeed has said that transport projects alone cannot solve the problems of Karachi; the real need is to create employment opportunities for citizens.
During a press talk in Karachi, she said that if citizens do not have jobs, how can they benefit from modern transport facilities. According to her, the issues of such a large population cannot be resolved only through bus services.
The actress questioned why effective planning for basic needs and employment is not being carried out in a city with such a large population.
She said real development is only possible when citizens become part of the economy and earn dignified livelihoods, rather than treating transport projects as the sole measure of progress.
Sania Saeed further said that a comprehensive strategy is needed for a major city like Karachi, in which employment, economy, and urban planning are given priority so that better opportunities can be provided to the youth.
