Abu Dhabi (Sports Desk) — Pakistan delivered an outstanding performance at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, winning two gold medals and one bronze medal.
Pakistan participated in the Masters category of the global competition being held in Abu Dhabi for the first time and achieved a historic success in its very first event.
National athletes and former Asian champion Abu Huraira and Muhammad Ammar displayed excellent performances in the Masters Duo and Duo Show categories, winning gold medals.
In addition, Muhammad Yousuf and Muhammad Umar secured a bronze medal in the Under-21 Duo category. Both players will also represent Pakistan today in the Under-21 Duo Show category.
Chairman of the Pakistan Jiu-Jitsu Federation Khalil Ahmed Khan congratulated the national athletes on their success and praised their performance.
