Karachi (Commerce Desk) — A significant development has emerged in Pakistan’s export sector as a Pakistani tyre manufacturing company has received approval to export its products to six Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The company has submitted details regarding tyre exports to Gulf countries to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
According to the announcement, the Pakistani tyre manufacturer has received official approval from the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO), allowing the company to export its products to member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Under the approval, tyre exports from Pakistan will begin to Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other GSO member countries.
The development is being considered a positive step for Pakistan’s industrial sector, with expectations of increasing national exports and creating opportunities to access new international markets.
