Islamabad (Pakistan News) In Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that “Pakistan exists, so we all exist,” and strengthening the country is the collective responsibility of the entire nation.
While addressing the budget session in the National Assembly, he said that financial resources for the provinces are their constitutional right, and Balochistan’s share in the National Finance Commission (NFC) has been increased by 100 percent.
The Prime Minister said that all respected members of the House are honorable and have been elected from all four provinces. Their political views and perspectives may differ, but the objective should remain the same.
He once again invited the opposition for dialogue, saying that he considers political opponents as brothers and has no enmity with them. According to him, there is room for discussion on a Charter of Economy and Charter of Democracy.
Shehbaz Sharif said he is ready for talks and the opposition should also move forward so that national issues can be resolved.
He said that Balochistan is a beautiful province where brave and honorable people live, and the federal government has taken significant steps for its development. He noted that farmers in Balochistan have been provided relief worth billions of rupees through solar projects.
The Prime Minister said that equal development of all provinces is his responsibility and that a system cannot function without justice.
Speaking about the law and order situation in the country, he said that terrorism incidents in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are alarming, and security forces are making sacrifices.
He said that martyrs lay down their lives to protect the children of the nation, and their sacrifices must be respected by the entire country.
The Prime Minister emphasized that there is no room for negligence in the fight against terrorism, and any kind of carelessness in this regard will not be acceptable to the nation.
