Karachi (Pakistan News) In the Shah Latif Town area of Karachi, Rangers carried out an operation and arrested a wanted terrorist. According to a Rangers spokesperson, the arrested terrorist belongs to Swat and joined the banned organization’s Fazlullah group in 2007.
The spokesperson said that the arrested suspect had been involved in IED attacks on schools and police posts in Shakardara and Shakarderi, while he was also involved in incidents such as an attack on Matu police station, looting government weapons, and setting the police station on fire.
It was further stated that in 2008, during an operation, he remained in hiding in Mingora and later fled abroad; however, in 2022 he returned and resumed terrorist activities.
According to the report, 3 civilians were killed and 2 were injured in the suspect’s attack, while he was hiding in Karachi to organize further networks.
The arrested suspect has been handed over to CTD Swat for further legal action.
