Karachi (Showbiz Desk) – Pakistani actress Sajal Aly has spoken about her friendship with Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, describing her as a genuine and sincere person.
During a radio interview, Sajal Aly was asked about emerging artists in the showbiz industry. Mentioning Janhvi Kapoor, she said that they are friends and that she greatly appreciates Janhvi's honesty and sincerity.
The friendship between the two actresses began in 2017 during the shooting of the Bollywood film Mom, in which Sajal Aly played the stepdaughter of late actress Sridevi.
According to reports, it was Janhvi Kapoor who recommended Sajal Aly's name for the film, after which Sajal also developed close relations with Sridevi and her family.
There is also an emotional aspect to the friendship between the two actresses. During the shooting of Mom, Sajal Aly's mother passed away due to cancer, while Sridevi also died in February 2018. The shared pain of losing their mothers has made their bond even deeper and more special.
Despite limited opportunities to meet due to political tensions between Pakistan and India, both actresses continue to express their love and sincerity towards each other.
Their warm meeting at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night held in Dubai also gained considerable popularity on social media.
