Stock Exchange of Pakistan experiences fluctuations, dollar becomes slightly cheaper

Karachi (Commerce Desk) A mixed trend is being observed on the first day of the business week in the Pakistan Stock Exchange, where both bullish and bearish movements were seen in the market. During trading, a decline of 949 points was recorded in the 100 Index, after which the index reached 179,871 points. During the trading session, the lowest level of the index was 179,541 points while the highest level was 180,507 points. At the close of the last business day of the previous week, the 100 Index had settled at 178,922 points.

On the other hand, a slight decrease was seen in the value of the dollar in the interbank market, where the US currency became cheaper by one paisa and reached 278.24 rupees. Yesterday, the dollar had closed at 278.25 rupees.
